Coordinator Changes
We would like to thank Dave Arthur and Lauren Thomson for all of their work in the student engagement and wellbeing space for the last two terms. We welcome Bec Cope who joins the Year 9 team and Taylor Shelley who has joined the year 11 team.
Koorie Connections Event
This week we hosted our Term 2 Koorie Connections Event - a delicious menu prepared by Chef Cat. This event was well attended and it was lovely to see so many families in attendance from not only our school, but our other local schools. A huge thankyou to Liam Offer for all of his work in organising this dinner and to Chef Cat and her team. The food was delicious.
Interim Reports/Semester Reports
With the pending release of end of term reports, it is the perfect time to reflect on learning behaviours from the term and also setting goals moving forward. Please note that students and families can speak to year level teams about academic counselling referrals to assist with goal setting. VCE students are also encouraged to work with teachers on any results that still need to be redeemed. Academic counsellors can also work with students on time management to assist with working out timelines for students to complete their studies.
Doctors in Schools Open Day
This Thursday our Doctor and Nurse will open up their doors to our students for part of the day to encourage students to get to know the team. This event will be supported by our wellbeing staff. The idea is to break down the barriers of students accessing medical care.
Semester 2 Timetables
With reports being finalised, Semester 2 has now officially started. We thank students for their patience as we navigate a new timetable. We ask that any queries in relation to subjects, please be made directly to year level teams. SEQTA should be updated with current selections.
SEQTA Access
Families are reminded that our main communication portal is SEQTA - please ensure that you are reading the direqt messages in particular. If you need assistance with accessing SEQTA, please contact our front office.
We hope you have a wonderful term break and we look forward to working with you all in Term 3 in supporting your children to work towards their chosen pathways.
