Greater Western Region Netball

On Tuesday 11th of June Horsham College sent a Senior and Intermediate team to represent the College at the Greater Western Region Netball in Ballarat.

The Intermediate team played 4 matches in a round robin where they demonstrated strong plays and teamwork, the girls score 3 wins and only lost to Trinity College by 2 goals! Well done to all the girls in the team.

The Senior team played in Pool A where they won 2 out of 3 games, the girls then versed Ballarat HS in a Semi Final, where they unfortunately lost by 2 goals. The demonstrated excellent teamwork and drives down the court!

On Thursday 13th of June our year 7 & 8 girls footy team headed down to Hamilton to compete in the Greater Western Region Football, the girls played 4 games and managed to win 1, everyone played exceptionally well and should be super proud of themselves, well done girls!

Intermediate and Senior AFL

Congratulations to our Senior and Intermediate Boys Football team on qualifying and playing in the Greater Western Region Titles in Ballarat on Tuesday 11th June.

Senior Boys had a competitive day winning two out of there four games.

Intermediate Boys won all games in their pool and qualified for the Grand Final against Emanuel College, the match went down to the last minute of the game with both teams having shots on goal that would have sealed the match, unfortunately when the siren sounded it was Emanuel College ahead by five points.

Congratulations to both teams on your efforts in cold, wet, and windy conditions and a big thank you to Mr Hose, Mr Price and Mr Beddison for taking the students to Ballarat.
