End of Term

The end of term has almost arrived, and once again it has been a busy time at Horsham College. We have had several events, including excursions and incursions, and these reflect the commitment of staff at the College to provide a broad education that connects students with the local community, and the world in which we live.

Casual Day – House Colours – Thursday 27th

Next Thursday the College SRC will host a Casual Dress Day to build connection and school pride by encouraging students to wear their house colours.

McLachlan – Yellow

Wimmera Southern Mallee Careers Expo

On Tuesday in the last week of Term 2, students in Years 10-12 will attend the Wimmera Southern Mallee Careers Expo. It is always a fantastic day, and it is a great opportunity for students to engage with the large variety of education, training, and career providers on show.

Reports

End of semester reports will be going out to students in the coming week. This is good time for families to sit down with students and discuss their report, progress, successes, and opportunities. Our College’s success is based upon students, staff and families working together, and we encourage parents who have concerns to contact staff to discuss support.

Finally, I wish everyone a safe and restful holiday break and look forward to continuing our work in Term 3.
