Working with Children Checks

In order for our school to be compliant with the WWCC Act and receive notifications on the status of Volunteer Working with Children Checks, your WWCC must be linked to Baxter Primary School..

Parent action required:

Check that your WWCC is current and is linked to Baxter Primary School. Please link your WWCC to our school so that you can be eligible to assist on excursions and classroom activities (e.g. reading).

Some parents have been struggling to do this, due to our school address. Please ensure you use 120 Grant Road, Baxter 3911 — this is the school address recognised on the system. Your co-operation with this essential task is greatly appreciated.

Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund provides payments for eligible students to attend school camps, excursions, and sports and outdoor education programs. CSEF applications for 2024 expire on Friday 28th June. If you are eligible, please be sure to return the completed form by next Friday.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast club is currently being offered to all students every Thursday morning from 8.15am - 8.45am. Proudly brought to you by Foodbank Victoria.

Wet Weather Reminder

With the change of seasons, please ensure you pack extra clothing items in your child’s school bags, to assist with wet weather accidents. Please include underwear, socks, pants / leggings.

We do not have an abundance of spare clothing items to offer children.

Parents will be called to assist with the changeover of clothing, if spare clothes

are not provided in children’s bags.

Orders can be placed online through Peninsula Uniforms or purchased directly from their retail store, in Carrum Downs

2nd Hand Uniform Shop

Open next to the First Aid Room for parents to browse at any time.

$5 donation (per logo item), is requested.

Lost Property

There is a large number of jumpers and other lost property items in the front office. Please find time to look through these items before the end of Term 2, as anything unnamed will be cleared out and donated to the second-hand uniform shop.

Fundraising
