Over the last 2 weeks, Kindergarten was delighted to welcome a very special group of visitors, our ducklings. Both Echidna and Wallaby classes thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to observe and interact with them over a sustained period, noticing the many changes and behaviours that occur as the ducklings grow.
Through daily experiences, the children have been developing their understanding of living things by carefully observing how the ducklings move, feed, and respond to their environment. These shared observations have provided a rich connection to the Science topic Living World.
It has been a wonderful fortnight of curiosity, discussion, and hands-on learning, with Echidna and Wallaby students showing great care and excitement throughout the ducklings’ visit.

We are proud to celebrate our students’ achievements at the Hello Mandarin Competition, recognising their commitment to both heritage language maintenance and language learning.
Our students demonstrated enthusiasm, perseverance, and dedication throughout the competition. 17 progressed to the final round and our group team also awarded a Gold Medal for outstanding collaboration.
These achievements reflect the diverse language backgrounds of our learners and the strong support from teachers and families in fostering a love of Mandarin. Congratulations to all participants for their hard work and success!

Do you enjoy delicious freshly baked foods? 🍯🍮🍪🍰🍞🥐🥖🥨🥯
Each year, our Year 6 students run a Bake Sale to raise funds for their Year 6 Farewell and a special school gift. This year’s Bake Sale Week will take place during Weeks 10 and 11 of Term 2, from Friday, 26 June to Wednesday, 1 July.
We warmly invite students to come along and purchase delicious baked goods during recess and lunch each day. There will be a wide variety of treats available, including cupcakes, muffins, slices, cakes, doughnuts, cookies, brownies, and biscuits.
We sincerely thank the school community for your ongoing support in continuing this wonderful tradition. Enjoy the Bake Sale!

This Term we are inviting parents and carers to participate in the NSW Public Schools Parent Survey. The survey gives you the opportunity to share your experience at our school, including communication, inclusion, wellbeing and how your child’s learning is supported. Hearing directly from our parents and carers will help us understand what’s working well and where improvements can be made. Participation in the survey is optional, your responses are anonymous, and it takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete. You can access the survey at https://surveyme.education.nsw.gov.au/sc/yVMnz8NZI9d2u1h2YMo6Pw2
