Strengthening Child Safety Reporting Practices

As part of our ongoing commitment to child safety, we have recently updated our staff mandatory reporting procedures to reflect recent changes to the Victorian PROTECT guidance on responding to and reporting child safety concerns. These updates have been made as part of our commitment to strengthening our processes for identifying concerns, acting promptly, and working with relevant authorities to keep children safe.

If you have any questions or concerns about child safety, please approach a Head of School, Deputy Principal, other senior leaders, or wellbeing staff.

As a school we are legally obligated to report suspected child abuse. We continue to regularly review our policies to ensure that they align with evolving Victorian child safety standards and will advise families should significant changes occur.

Supporting Your Child’s Online Safety

We encourage all parents and carers to access the Australian eSafety Commissioner’s free parent webinars, which provide practical, up‑to‑date guidance on supporting children to stay safe and responsible online. These sessions cover topics such as managing screen time, dealing with cyberbullying, understanding social media and gaming, and building safe digital habits as a family.
