International Winter Excursion

At EDSC, one of the ways we provide support to the `vulnerable’ International Student cohort is through excursions. We take them to places they may not otherwise visit to build community and promote our theme which is “Begin with the End in Mind.” The International Student Leadership were given a task to come up with such an excursion. 

On Friday 11 August the International Students were taken to O’Brien Arena Docklands for an ice-skating lesson and then free skating. 

After lunch we then visit the Melbourne Sea Life Aquarium. It was such a pleasure to see the students helping each other out on the skating rink and to see staff and students from different cultures enjoying time together. The students all represented EDSC in a respectful manner which made it a fun day all round!
