Semester 2 Behaviour Progress Reports

Approaching the mid-point of Semester 2, teaching staff will be provided the opportunity this week to provide feedback to the respective Year Coordinators on students who are consistently engaging in disrespectful behaviour and disrupting the learning environment. Those students identified on multiple occasions will be contacted and be interviewed by the respective Year Coordinators; further consequences will be determined as required. Parents/carers will be notified of the concerns raised and, if necessary, they will be given the opportunity to attend an interview in Term 4 to discuss approaches to resolve the identified concerns.

Safe on Social- Sextortion Webinar

On Monday evening I had the opportunity to listen to Kirra Pendergast from ‘Safe on Social’ present on the issue of Sextortion, a trend that become an increasing concern for teachers, parents/carers and students who have fallen victim. Below are the links to highly recommended resources on Sextortion and Sexting provided to teachers and parents/carers after the webinar. The resources complement the presentations provided to students in Term 2.
