Science Week 2023

The theme of Science Week this year was 'Innovation; Powering Future Industries'. It recognises the contributions that advances in technology make in all industries. STEM innovation is happening at an extraordinary pace across every major sector – in agriculture, defence, resources, energy and medicine – and science is on the cutting edge of that progress.

Throughout the week, students participated in quizzes, escape rooms and online competitions throughout the week that reflected the theme. This also included some Year 7 students creating water filters to separate a mixture of water and mud. Water filters are crucial in so many applications to ensure clean and safe water supply.

Congratulations to Jarrah Swan (Year 8) for winning the Science Week quiz and receiving a gift voucher prize.
