Oxley Premiers in Three EISM Winter Season Grand Finals

Senior students ended the EISM Winter Season on a high note with three teams crowned premiers! Both Boys and Girls Netball teams played against Billanook in the final at Oxley with both winning their games convincingly.

Our Badminton team played against Tintern at Mitcham Badminton and also had a great win to be crowned premiers. Congratulations to these teams and our Senior Boys Indoor Soccer team who finished their season as Runners-up in their game against Plenty Valley.

Congratulations to the following students for your outstanding contribution to your team and the College during the Winter Season. You have been nominated by your coaches and teammates for Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Best Team Player (BTP) for the season.

Our Year 11s will now turn their focus to their end of year exams, studying in their Home Groups, on Wednesday afternoons. Year 10s will participate in a special program on Wednesday afternoons leading up to their exams.

Thank you to all the Senior students who participated in Sport, especially our Year 12s. You all did very well in the way you represented the College this year.

EISM Inter-School Cross Country Competition

The EISM Inter-School Cross Country Competition will take place on Wednesday 6 September at Ruffey Lake Park in Doncaster East. Students who are selected to represent Oxley have been notified.

Oxley is usually very competitive in Cross Country and that is why we would like to see selected students either attending the training sessions on Thursday afternoons after school leading up to the event or ensure they train by themselves. They meet in the Stadium at 3.45pm on Thursday afternoons and finish at 4.30pm sharp. Hope to see you all at training.
