This award is presented to Jayden for being a Foundation Super STAR! Jayden always tries his hardest and is to be congratulated on the effort he has taken to correctly form all the letters in  his name. Keep up all the great work you are doing Jayden!

Phoebe K. - 1/2B

This award goes to Phoebe for her fantastic work in Maths this week. When measuring capacity of different containers, Phoebe was able to think of an effective way to order the containers without having to compare them all individually. Not only were you successful, you also helped others in the class achieve success as well. Fantastic work Phoebe!

Jordan A. - 1/2C

This award goes to Jordan for consistently showing his HEART values. This week in Writing, Jordan helped his peers who needed support to complete and publish their writing. Thank you Jordan for being a kind and helpful classmate. You are a wonderful role model to others.

Eliza-Mei W. - 1/2R

Congratulations Eliza-Mei for always supporting your classmates and working hard in literacy. You have shown persistence when completing challenging work and are always willing to share your ideas/knowledge with fellow peers. Keep up the wonderful work!

Jackson R. - 3/4B

Using the DADS acronym - Dialogue, Action, Description, and Show, Don’t Tell - Jackson wrote four different bold beginnings for his picture story book narrative. Show, Don’t Tell - “A smile grew on his face as he ate the golden carrot”. Well done Jackson!

Ali Q. - 3/4K

This award goes to Ali for the wonderful reading he has been doing with his teacher. Ali has been reading each week using a proper reading voice. After reading he was also able to give a retell of the story in his own words, saying what happened in the beginning, middle and end. We are all so proud of your good choices Ali! Well done.

The Whole Class - 3/4S

This award goes to everyone in the class for the amazing attitude they had while I was on leave. It was wonderful to hear such positive feedback about how you adapted to the changes of teachers and how well you worked during this time. Thank you for using your Scoresby HEART values. I really am a lucky teacher to have you in my class.

 Leah H. - 5/6W

This award goes to Leah for her outstanding ability when investigating prime and composite numbers in PONT Maths this week. She accurately used arrays to help her identify the different factors of a variety of numbers to enable her to determine whether they were a prime or composite number. Wonderful effort Leah!

Alexis B. - Visual Arts

This award goes to Alexis for her wonderful Book Week inspired art. After reading ‘Frank’s Red Hat,’ Foundation students used potato prints to make a penguin body before adding detail with paint and magiclay. Alexis worked carefully and creatively each lesson resulting in a fabulous piece of art. Your hat designs are terrific Alexis!

Keira W. - Performing Arts

Congratulations Keira. You deserve this award for your commitment to practising and learning multiple instruments, both during lesson time and in your own time as well. Excellent effort.  

Samuel B. - Mandarin

Arian F. - Science

This award goes to Arian for the inquisitive attitude he bought to his science lesson this week. Arian took what he learnt about magnets and decided to investigate what other objects in the room might hold magnetic properties. Great thinking Arian, keep it up.
