SRC Anti-bullying Campaign

The Student Representative Council (SRC) are driving a campaign against bullying to coincide with the National Day of Action Against Bullying this Friday 18 August.  In Tuesday’s Assembly, students took a pledge written by the SRC to take action against bullying in their community.

On Friday, students will be given an orange ribbon to wear on their uniform or in their hair to bring awareness and start conversations about what students can do to take action against bullying. One of the key messages from this campaign is to become an ‘upstander’ rather than a ‘bystander’.

Please take the time to discuss this pledge at home with your child to reinforce a shared understanding of how we can all take action against bullying.

Pledge Against Bullying

I solemnly pledge to stand up against all forms of bullying, including cyberbullying, and to uphold the values of Care, integrity, resilience, and respect. I recognise that bullying can cause deep and lasting harm to individuals, their mental well-being, and their sense of self-worth. As a responsible and compassionate individual, I commit to the following principles:

Zero Tolerance for Bullying, combating Cyberbullying, Being an Enabler and Bystander No More, Upholding with dignity, and Respect, the rights of everyone in our community.

I understand that by taking this pledge, I am joining a community committed to creating a world where bullying and cyberbullying have no place. I acknowledge the power of my words and actions and vow to use them to promote kindness, empathy, and positive change.

Tour Schedule 2024

We are excited to announce our Tour Schedule for 2024. These tours provide an opportunity for students to experience learning outside of the classroom in a range of disciplines and developmental areas that align with our strategic pillar, Learning From Experiences.

If you are interested in one or more of these tours, please follow the link on the flyer below and submit your expression of interest (EOI). More information about these tours will be shared with you as the year progresses.

Please note that some tours are run by Clayfield, and some are run by external providers. All tours require students to meet a selection criteria that includes behaviour, attendance and academic commitment. Some tours will have their own specific criteria that will be shared once EOIs have been gathered.

For any questions about these tours, or the application process, please email Mr Justin Desmarchelier via jdesmarchelier@clayfield.qld.edu.au.
