Supporting the Community of St. Bede's to 'Live Well'


Bonjour tout le monde,

 

This Wednesday I was fortunate enough to attend the MACS Student Wellbeing Leaders Conference. It was an excellent opportunity for me to connect with other leaders in schools and listen to some contemporary evidence-based presentations about our schools. There were many things I found insightful throughout the day, however something that resonated with me came from Emeritus Professor Helen Cahill who spoke of the need for nurturing positive connections throughout our community in the post-covid aftermath. The following diagram shows the importance these relationships have on creating meaningful student voice within the school to improve outcomes in both social and academic areas as well as the overall mental health of all.
