Macleay Valley All Schools Koori/Goori Graduates Dinner

Kempsey High School Hosted the Macleay Valley All Schools Graduation dinner, on Wednesday 13 September in the school hall. The hall was transformed into a beautiful formal space with many members of staff and students helping to decorate and set tables. A big thank you is extended to all those who lent a helping hand.

We were joined by Melville High School, St Paul's, Macleay Vocational College, Kempsey Adventist School, and Walcha Central School. Students, staff and special guests joined us in celebrating 41 Aboriginal students across the valley completing Year 12. Well done to you all on this wonderful achievement.

Special thanks to all of our sponsors Kelly Management Group, The Macleay Valley Local AECG and Dunghutti Elders Council. The night would not be the success that it was without the help of the amazing Red Onion team. The KHS trade centre put together a delicious menu for all of our guests and this was not only prepared by the Red Onion team but was also delivered to all of our guests by our wonderful students from the team. Thank you to you all.

The Figtree Descendants and our own KHS dance troupe put on a wonderful cultural performance that was enjoyed by everyone. So again, thank you for all of your efforts.

A big shout out to the Aboriginal Education team at KHS for all of their dedication and hard work in bringing this all together.
