Attendance
It has been our pleasure every week in Assembly to acknowledge and highlight the students whose attendance this term has consistently been equal to, or over, 90%.
This is a fabulous achievement, and all the eligible students go into a draw to win a $30 voucher - specifically catered to the needs of teenagers.
In the first 4 weeks our winners have been Zahlie Ridgeway-Glover Yr 7, Nicola Giles Yr 7, Pyper Kennedy Yr 8 and Elora Graham Yr 10. 👏👏👏👏
All years have been strongly represented in the draw and it gives Kempsey High School pleasure to reward just a few of our students in this manner.
As families and carers of students please remember that it is important throughout school life and your future to always be in the right Place at the Right Time.
In Term 3 Wk 10 the draw will be narrowed down to students whose attendance has been equal to or over 95%.
KHS has introduced a wellbeing attendance initiative aiming to support our students to
always be in the right place at the right time.
Part of this initiative means that students may be put on an Attendance Monitoring card.
If students are placed on an Attendance Monitoring card they need to be collected before school starts, signed by their teachers every lesson and handed in before they go home.
At KHS, please remember to be in the right place at the right time.
