Bush Tucker Garden

Works continue throughout this term helping to transform a section of the Kempsey District Hospital gardens. The students have been designing their Totems for the gardens and are now at the stage where they are painting their designs onto the poles.

The next stage of the garden is the maintenance of the plants that the students have planted and deciding on the bush tucker plants for the gardens. Students were also treated to some delicious food made with special bush tucker plants such as: Lemon Myrtle, Rivermint, Wattleseed, and Rosella Jam. Thank you to Jenny, who is the project Manager at Kempsey Hospital for buying the food with the native ingredients.
