Education Week

Public Education Week is an annual celebration of NSW public education and the achievements of our schools, teachers, and students. This year Public Education Week will be held from 3-7 August 2026 (Term 3, Week 3).

This is an opportunity to acknowledge our exceptional staff, celebrate the achievements of our students and recognise why we proudly choose public education, where every child is supported to reach their full potential.

100 Days of School

We are excited to announce that our 101 Days of School Celebration will take place in Education Week on Thursday 6th August. This year, we are embracing a 101 Dalmatians theme!

Celebrating Learning

The celebration provides students with an opportunity to reflect on their learning journey and recognise the growth and achievements they have made over the past two terms. Throughout the day, students will participate in a range of fun activities designed to celebrate their progress.

Dress-Up Day

To make the day even more special, we invite students to dress in black and white. They are also welcome to get creative and come dressed as a Dalmatian! If your child would prefer not to dress to the theme, they may wear other suitable free-dress clothing.

Police Presentation

An important part of the day will be a visit from Constable Joyce, who will conduct age-appropriate police safety talks with both classes. These sessions will strengthen students’ understanding of personal safety, respectful behaviour and how to seek help, while supporting them to make safe and responsible choices both in the community and online.

The sessions will focus on:

  • K–1: Keep Me Safe
  • Years 3–6: Bullying and Cyber Safety

We greatly appreciate Constable Joyce taking the time to visit our school and share these important safety messages with our students.
