Principal's Message

A Wintery Welcome Back to RPS for Term 3
We are excited to welcome everyone back to RPS for the start of a new term and thank you all for braving the cold. Our commitment remains strong to provide each student with the best possible education through best practice and individualised teaching. Small schools like ours offer a unique and wonderful environment where each student can experience personalised, responsive teaching and learning tailored to their strengths and needs.
Reports and Reflecting on Growth
I would also like to acknowledge the recent distribution of student reports. I hope all families have had the opportunity to read the reports carefully and sit with their child to discuss their learning journey so far. The comments in these reports provide valuable insight into each student’s strengths, achievements and areas for continued growth. Celebrating progress, no matter how big or small, and working together on next steps is an important part of supporting students as we move into the second half of the year with renewed focus and enthusiasm.
2027 Kindergarten Enrolments are Open!
Our Kindergarten program combines warm relationships, structured routines and hands on learning experiences to help children feel secure and excited about school. We focus on wellbeing, early literacy and numeracy, and building strong friendships.
Families with children starting Kindergarten in 2027 are encouraged to contact the school for more information or to begin the enrolment process.
Playgroup
Our school has thoroughly enjoyed welcoming our newest families through Playgroup each week. The children have quickly warmed to the school environment, enjoying the sandpit, visiting and feeding our chickens, playing on the equipment and riding the swing bikes.
We love seeing new faces at our school. If you are yet to visit, please pop in for a play. We would be delighted to welcome you.
As always, thank you for your continued support of our school. I look forward to celebrating the many achievements of our students as we move through term.
Warm regards,
Principal
