Thank you to our Year 1/2 level for planning the “Hope Flower” activity, inspired by Manaini’s story from Fiji. The completed display has added a beautiful splash of colour to the Room 13 wall, brightening the quadrangle.
We look forward to seeing the finished “Decorated Bees”, reflecting Monoranjon’s story from Bangladesh, join the display soon. We are blessed with such creative students in our school community.
Donations for Project Compassion, supporting the work of Caritas Australia, will continue to be accepted at school until the end of Term One.
Our Social Justice and Wellbeing Leaders are also planning additional activities to help raise much needed funds.
Thank you for your ongoing generosity in supporting those in need.

Congratulations to the children from our school and parish community who celebrated their First Reconciliation on Wednesday evening at St Michael's Church.
Thank you to our families and staff for the care and support you have given the children as they prepared for this important sacrament.
A special thank you to Deacon Malcolm for leading the Reconciliation Prayer Liturgy on Wednesday afternoon, and to Fr Darien for his warm, caring and sincere approach with each child during the sacrament.
We also commend the children for the respectful and reverent way they participated in this special occasion.

Please remember that this is just the beginning—Reconciliation is a sacrament you can return to at any time throughout your life.

Melbourne traditionally celebrates St Patrick’s Day on 17th March. Saint Patrick is also the patron saint of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, to which our school belongs.
On Friday 20th March, ten of our Year 6 leaders will travel by train with Mr Hickey and Charlotte, a parent, to attend the Mass of St Patrick for Schools at St Patrick’s Cathedral. They will join more than 1,500 students and staff from Catholic schools across Victoria to celebrate Mass together.
Following the celebration, students will walk to Fitzroy Gardens to enjoy lunch and be entertained by student bands from various Catholic secondary schools.
St Patrick … pray for us.

Saint Joseph was the loving husband of Mary and the earthly guardian of Jesus Christ. A humble carpenter, he worked faithfully to protect and provide for the Holy Family, always responding with trust to God’s call.
Known as a “just man,” St Joseph is a model of faith, loyalty and quiet strength. His example reminds us of the importance of caring for others and trusting in God’s plan.
We celebrate his feast day on March 19.
St Joseph … pray for us

For disarmament and peace
Let us pray that
nations move toward effective disarmament, particularly nuclear disarmament, and that world leaders choose the path of dialogue and diplomacy instead of violence.
