Mother's Day Stall 2024

Last Friday was a shopping frenzy as everyone shopped up a storm for their mums and other special women in their lives. A very big thank you to our volunteers on the day and during the week in getting everything ready for our students:

Kerrie Sinclair, Angela Micallef, Ana Sanches, Kavitha Varghese

Dominic Vergou, Dianna Jaworsky, Claudia Palmisano, Rebecca Al Antouri, Tatiana Santef, Josie Della Croce, Tanya Taranto, Effie Micallef, Elaine Smith, Belinda Mastroianni, Nicole Vinar, Arlyn Abaldonado, Phina Yea, Garth Aurish, Melissa Schaifone, Mirjana Santic, Vanessa Torzillo, Maxine Pretty, Nicky O'Mahony and Christine Kenney.

Special thanks to Jennifer Moore who organised the ordering of all the gifts and her daughter Alecia who helped out on the day. So many people commented on the variety of the gifts this year and how lovely they were.

All of our volunteers have gone into the draw to win a $100 Academy Uniforms voucher. This will be drawn at the end of the term, once all of our events for the term that require volunteers are finished.

Mother’s Day Morning

On Monday it was lovely to see everyone come together for our Mother’s Day Morning. Jesna and Michael from our Year 6 Faith and Mission Team did a beautiful job of reading the prayer and then Claire read the very funny book, ‘Mum for Sale.’

Then there was cookie decorating, colouring in, portrait drawing, manicures and massages, books to read and snuggle up with together and games to play. So many people made it outside to search for the clues and crack the code for the treasure hunt!

Congratulations to the following students who cracked the code ‘It was great to have you here’ and won prizes for their Mums:
