ANZAC Day Liturgy

On Friday 26th April, the Year 6 Faith and Social Justice Leaders presented a liturgy in each of the classrooms. This was an opportunity to remember the Australians and New Zealanders who have served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.

Whole School Christian Meditation

Each Friday at 2pm, the whole school will participate in Christian Meditation whereby we sit and rest in silence for a short period of time. Current research is seeing links between meditation/mindfulness to improved mental health. As Christians, we silently repeat the word, "Maranatha", which means "Come Lord". As a multi faith school, we encourage students using a sacred word from their own faith as a mantra during this contemplation time. Feel free to discuss this with your child.
