YEAR 5

Year 5 Wonder Day

Leading up to Wonder Day we had a t-shirt competition – where we had to design a t-shirt inspired by the book Wonder. The teachers then chose a winner from each class and wore that t-shirt on Wonder Day. We were so excited to see who had won and to see our designs on the teachers' t-shirts. 

Wonder Day started off with some fun activities, a Wonder Kahoot! (quiz), some riddles and then a yummy sausage sizzle for lunch. We then we got to watch the movie ‘Wonder’. Some of us made forts and watched under tables or got really comfy on beanbags. We compared the similarities and differences of the book and movie. When asked if we enjoyed the book or the movie, we were split 50/50. 

We are looking forward to Term 2 and all the fun things ahead.
