PREP NEWS

On Friday the 19th of April the Preps had a presentation from Dentist Shehana Thavarajah, also known as Mateo’s Mum in Prep AS. Relevant to our topic this term ‘Safe and Sound’, Shehana spoke to the students about the importance of keeping their teeth healthy and went through the process of visiting the dentist. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions, where they were able to reflect upon how they keep their teeth healthy at home. At the end of the presentation, the students received a Colgate toothbrush to take home. The students are looking forward to further exploring this topic of ‘Safe and Sound’ throughout the term. 

We congratulate these children on a fabulous terms work. Certificates were happily presented to these students for fabulous work efforts, playing nicely in the playground and always sharing during classroom activities and discussions. The Prep teachers are so delighted with the way the children have settled and work in the classrooms. The playground is abuzz with lots of laughter, squealing and fun.
