General Overview

Welcome to Term 2.  We hope that you all had a lovely break and are refreshed and ready for another term.  The students have had a positive return to school with lots of exciting stories to share about their holidays.  This is a long and busy term with lots of fun and engaging learning experiences planned. Below you will see a breakdown of your child's library timetable.

Timetable:

Please note that the Grade 2 cohort attends the library on Tuesday. Please ensure that library books to be returned are brought to school on Tuesdays, or alternatively returned to the library at a time that suits you. Our library timetable is as follows:

• Session 1 (9:20 - 9:50) - 2B
• Session 4 (12:00-12:50) - 2C.
• Session 5 (1:50-2:40) - 2D/2E
• Session 6 (2:40-3:30) - 2A

Volunteer Opportunities 

Classroom Helpers

In Term 2 starting in Week 3 we will commence welcoming parents as classroom volunteers. You must have a current Working With Children Check and have previously completed the Parent Helper course. This is part of our school policy in order to volunteer in your child’s classroom. A sign-up sheet will be shared with parents shortly.

The following mornings will be open for parent helpers in in Term 2:

2. Friday

Excursion Volunteers Swimming

If you are interested in volunteering your time to support the Melbourne Museum Excursion on the 27th of May between 9:00am and approximately 3:00pm, please contact your classroom teacher via email. If you are unable to assist but would like to support later on during the term we will have the Swimming Program occurring in which parent support is warmly welcomed.
