Mothers’ Day morning tea

On Friday 10th, the PFA will host a Mothers’ Day morning tea in the assembly hall at school.  There will be a spread of treats, tea will be provided, and coffee will be available to purchase from 7:50 until 8:45 from Raf’s coffee van (electronic payment is available, but bring cash if you can, in case the connection fails).

The PFA is looking for assistance (not from the mothers this time, please!) to help celebrate the mothers in our community. We’ll need assistance on the day to set up, serve morning tea, and pack down. We’ve split the morning into 3 shifts (loosely set-up at 7, service at 8, and pack-down at 8.30), so if you can’t commit all morning, please consider helping out for an hour.

The morning tea wouldn’t be possible without the kind support of Bakers Delight, Kyneton who have generously donated baked goods and Coles Woodend, who contributed to savoury goods for our celebration of Mothers Day. Bakers Delight Kyneton are also running a fundraiser for the BCNA (Breast Cancer Network Australia), and we urge WPS community members to support this fundraiser. The PFA will be making a donation on behalf of the school

WPS Parents and Friends Association (PFA) next Meeting

The PFA will meet on the 7th May (this coming Tuesday) at school, in the staffroom. Anyone is welcome to attend and/or join the committee. Meeting commences 7:30 promptly, and is generally done by 9.
