Year 12 Physics Explore Spectroscopy

Last week, Year 12 Physics students delved into intricate spectroscopy work utilising the cutting-edge technology housed within the ASEC control room. Spectroscopy plays a crucial role in discerning the gases present on stellar surfaces. Each unique gas or vapour emits its own distinct spectra, facilitating identification. In last week's session, students used special gas tubes to create these spectra, acquainting themselves with it.
