Performing Arts Captains Romina & Sophia (Performing Arts)

St Kevin’s “The Three Doors” original musical performance is coming soon on October 19th 2023. This show is written by Susie and Renee guided by Mrs. Pezzimenti. We’re so excited about our performance and all students and staff are trying their best to make it perfect.

The performance is acted out by three students, “Poppy, Alexander and Romina” who see three odd doors; one says present, one says past and the last one says future. When they go through the present door, they go on an adventure game show and meet Natasha “Susie”. In the game show, they time travel to the past and future because they need to find a key. If they find the key they will win the big and an amazing prize that no one has ever won before. What will happen next? Well, who knows until the day of the performance.

This show is symbolic of the connection between people and nature for centuries. We need to help our earth by being sustainable people. We’re using this performance to promote sustainability as it is connected to our school’s Inquiry Unit.

Each grade participates and takes part in their roles. Grade 1 ⁄ 2 are making costumes such as  jellyfish and octopi. Grade 3F are practising their songs and Grade 4CC are making the commercials. The Seniors are making posters for the past scene, working with hula hoops, and basketball. You’re going to see and enjoy all of this at the performance.

We have many things to be done by October 19th, so if you are interested in helping Mrs Pezzimenti by making costumes, cleaning the stage or creating sets, please send an email to Mrs Pezz spezzimenti@sktemplestowelr.catholic.edu.au. We need all the help we can get so if you think you can join, hop on board!

We are looking forward to seeing all of the parents and carers, and we hope that you’ll enjoy our performance.
