THIS FRIDAY 3rd NOVEMBER!!

Hello Grade 6 Parents,

As part of our preparation for Graduation and farewelling our Grade 6 students each year, we ask them to bring casual clothes to school to change in to so we can take some more relaxed photos of them and their friends. This year, we will be taking these photos next Friday, 3rd of November from 9am.

Students need to come to school in their uniforms, as usual, but we ask them to bring along some clothes to change into for the photos. If you have any questions, please see your child's classroom teacher.

Thank you!

DISCOVERY

THE HUMAN BODY!

The students have been exploring the human body, in particular our senses! Students have further investigated human senses and how they help us to experience and navigate the world. Without our senses we wouldn’t know what is going on around us. Different parts of our bodies have different functions that occur in order for us to use our senses.

In groups, students were assigned a different sense to research and explore. Each group worked together to:

• Create a poster explaining how their sense works

• Construct the supplied craft activity that explains your sense

• Present their information to the class to teach them about their assigned sense
