Fast, strong and fearless

Delana Cavallaro-Trask has headed off to her native New Zealand on Friday, October 13, following an invitation by Lakes FC to play in their U19 contingency.

On the back of captaining the team last year, Delana will spend a week training with Lakes FC before engaging in an elite level, three-day tournament, competing with teams from around the country.

Emphatic about her passion for The Beautiful Game and ambitious to one day go pro, Delana will try out for a Melbourne team upon her return in a couple of weeks.

Slay, Delana, like a true champion!!

Gold, and then silver at state level!

On the back of his outstanding gold medal win at the Hume District Athletics in Albury just under a fortnight ago, College champion and gifted shot putter, Vernal Mauigoa blitzed the field at the State Track and Field Championships in Melbourne, claiming a hotly coveted silver medal. Surpassing his best ever throw of 12.71m, Vernal pushed the 5kg shot put a massive 12.81m during competition. Surrounded by his ever supportive and cheering family, Vernal was ecstatic with his efforts, overcoming his nerves after stepping marginally across the line on his first try. The college would like to heartily congratulate Vernal on his exceptional achievements and looks forward to seeing all his future success in the sport. For now Vernal is keen as ever to return to his training while he seeking a shot put coach.

Congratulations to St Anne's College student, Zoe Monteleone, and LSO, Trent Herbert for their Goulburn Valley Football and Netball League (GVL) club achievements this season.
