INSPIRING CURIOUS MINDS

YEAR 3 - 6 CAMP!!

Camp was a huge success! Students thoroughly enjoyed their time on camp. Here are a few words from some students regarding their camp experience:

Ella S 3/4F: My favourite camp activities were the flying fox as it was amazing! I’d never done it before, loads of people were scared of heights but they still did it! When students did it, some took their hands off and some didn’t. We went over the lake so that was the scary part! I love that people who weren’t that brave still had a go.

Will B 3/4F: I liked laser tag because it was really fun and it was a nice experience. I won every game!

Scarlett 3/4F: I liked the maze because I found lots of clues with Tess and I went and looked at the map. I memorised where to go and then found the clue.

Milla 3/4D: I loved the flying fox and finding out who’s cabin I was in. In the middle of the night we played the whisper game and it came out as something very funny!

Etienne 3/4D: In the cabin, we had lots of fun playing around together. I loved the flying fox the most because I liked going down and pretending I was flying!

Otto 5/6B: I’ll never forget that I only got 42 minutes of sleep!

Lani 5/6B: I’ll never forget the time hanging out with our friends and being able to talk to them about everything. Although we didn’t get much sleep, I got to hang out with new people and get to know them. My favourite activity was hut building because I got to know Cash and Ethan S a bit better. Some of us got wet when doing the waterproof test!

Akeila 3/4E: I liked doing archery because I have always wanted to try using a bow and arrow. It was overall a good experience!

Mia 3/4E: I loved the flying fox because you got to go over the lake!

Zoe 3/4A: My favourite part of camp was seeing all the animals.  I saw kangaroos, koalas and an echidna!

YEAR 5/6 NEWS

The 5/6s had an amazing time alongside the 3/4s at Camp Weekaway in Benloch. Their 3-day adventure consisted of students dodging each other in laser tag, ziplining across a lake, team bonding and completing initiative-type puzzles, damper making, roasting marshmallows in a campfire, navigating through a giant maze, building a raft to get to an isolated island and much much more. Here are a few students’ camp recounts!
