Year 4 News

A busy start to Term 4 in Year 4!

Pen Licences

Congratulations to the following students who were awarded their pen licences last week. Keep up the great work in pen now!

Bike Ed

We had a big two-day Bike ed program where we were lucky enough to have great weather.

Students learnt new skills to apply to the road such as turning right at an intersection, u turning, slow riding, figure 8 riding, turning left and right from a driveway, roundabout turning and emergency braking.

The Year 4’s loved being on the oval in an open space for not only relays on the last day to conclude the program, but also learning to ride on different surfaces and for formation riding.

Children also learnt to scoot, scan and signal.

Thanks to Mr Farmer for coordination the program.

We all agreed that the students were excellent participants and cooperated commendably.
