I can’t believe that it is Term 4 already! 

On Friday 6th of October, we had student assemblies for our Year 9 and Year 10 students that acknowledged those who had an ‘Outstanding Attitude to Learning’ based on their progress reports. These students do their best in every class in the areas of organisation, behaviour, attitude to learning and completion of key tasks. I warmly congratulate these students for their excellent efforts over Term 3 and am proud to share their achievements with the college community.

This week the Year 10 students will undertake an important incursion delivered by Optus. The Digital Thumbprint program gave our students the opportunity to explore the importance of respectful relationships online. This was an interactive workshop for our students, which asked them to consider their impact when interacting online, this included discussions around consent online, image-based abuse and the tools students have to positively support themselves and their peers.

For those students in Years 7-9 who have school supplied laptops, it is important that any damage to these devices is reported to the IT team so that we can arrange for a speedy repair. Throughout the year, teachers and IT staff check the condition of devices and be in contact with students and families if a repair is required. Students need to have their devices ready and charged for the start of each day for learning.
