Community Garden
Over the school holidays, our children have been attending to the vegetable, herb and fruit plants that were donated to us by Bunnings at Modbury. Planting has taken place, sugar cane mulch applied and an apple tree transplanted into the retainer planter pot. We are beyond grateful for the partnership and donations given to facilitate the children's learning about botany (the science of plants).
We have noticed that our apricot tree has been dropping it's fruit over the past few weeks. Having done some research, we believe that the tree is shedding the fruit that it does not have the capacity to grow fully. How fascinating nature is!
With the warmer weather upon us, if you would like to join one of our teams in the daily caring of our garden please contact your child's Lead Teacher for times.
