Principal's Update

At Dundas Public School we do our best always

Relieving Principal's Message

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the Metropolitan North School Performance Award Ceremony where Mrs Dinsdale received the Executive Director's Recognition Award for her significant contributions in supporting the Department's core values and in particular her service to the Dundas Public School Community. She was acknowledged for her contributions as a parent who worked tirelessly as a member of the P&C and as a staff member in her various roles as SLSO, SAO and SAM. Well done Mrs Dinsdale we are all very proud of you!!!!

The end of term 3 is here and it certainly has been another busy term filled with activities that have showcased the talents of our students. Some of the activities include our school and zone athletics carnivals, Education Week – Open Classrooms, Kindy 2024 Expo, Premier’s Debating Challenge, Regional Spelling Bee, and Book Week. Also, we have had various incursions and excursions for all our students. To end the term Miss Edwards organised for Deadly ED to visit our school to deliver interactive workshops for our students in Indigenous games, dance, art and weaving. This experience allowed our students to experience Aboriginal culture whilst participating in Aboriginal Education activities.

Congratulations and thank you to all students, teachers and families in our DPS community who have all worked hard to make term 3 successful. Have a lovely holiday and we look forward to all students returning to school in term 4 on Monday 9th October.

Happy holidays!
