The 'No Sticky Tape' Challenge 

This semester, Foundation students have been encouraged to participate in a No Sticky Tape Challenge in the Making Corner. Instead of using sticky tape, students have been exposed to other joining techniques such as using paper hinges, skewers, string, wire and cardboard slots. 

During Design and Technologies lessons students have had the opportunity to practise these techniques to create Potato People, Wind Spinners, pipe-cleaner bound books and a 3D city. Students are to be commended for their creativity as they have applied their new skills and continued being busy in the Making Corner even without sticky tape!
