EnviroFair
Thursday 30 November 10am
As part of their Inquiry learning, the Year 4, 5 and 6s will be hosting an EnviroFair on Thursday 30 November to raise awareness and money to support the environment.
Each senior student has worked as part of a group to plan an EcoBusiness that they will run on this day. The focus has been on REUSE, REDUCE and RECYCLE and all businesses have been tasked with being as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.
Some of the EcoBusinesses that will be running include:
All members of the community are invited to attend the EnviroFair at 10am and all students will be visiting with their class. Parents are kindly asked to send their child/ren to school on this day with a little bit of money to spend at the EnviroFair.
All of the money that we raise will be donated to WIRES - the charity that the students have researched and chosen to support. WIRES care for sick, injured and endangered native animals as well as look after wildlife habitats.
We are also seeking any donations that people may have at home such as books, toys or household goods for our Trash and Treasure Stall.
Your support of our EnviroFair is greatly appreciated!
Warm regards
