State Tennis Finals
Our Year 8 Boys Tennis Team finally took to the courts at Dingley Tennis Club on 23 November.
It was indeed a tough draw for the day competing against Rowville College, Bayside College and Marist-Sion College Warragul.
However they boys played incredibly well and placed a credible third in their pool, after coming up against some polished performers!
Well done to Liam Beasley, Jack Byrne, Xavier Carmichael, Ben Henson and Hugo Monnich Vo.
Congratulations Ava Irwin!
We would like to congratulate Ava Irwin on her incredible achievements at the Petstock Pony Club Australia National Championships recently.
Ava competed as part of Team Victoria at the event and received:
- Overall National Individual Reserve Champion Junior dressage rider
- Overall National Junior Dressage team 3rd Overall
- Overall National Champion Showman Team Victoria
This is an amazing achievement Ava!
Your commitment, dedication and passion for your sport are second to none and we are incredibly proud of you.
House Triathlon
Congratulations to the Year 7 - 9 students who participated in the House Triathlon on Tuesday 5 December in very warm conditions!
All students tried their very best and showed courage and persistence in all legs of the race.
Well done to the following winners:
Year 7 Girls: Moore House (Bella Atkinson, Keira Mitchell, Lexie Howard)
Year 7 Boys: Moore House (Nate Smith, Lynkoln Richardson, Charlie Gotch)
Year 8 Boys: Chisholm House (Solomon Welch, Mitchell Sutton, Van Lowry)
Year 9 Boys: Moore House (Harry Gotch, James Brentnall, Addison Ireland)
Bendigo Soccer League Representatives
We would like to congratulate the following soccer stars - Tommy Quirk, Jack Dunne & Harry Sly!
Tommy & Jack were both selected in the 2024 Bendigo Soccer League Under 14 Representative Squad and Harry Sly was selected in the Under 16 side.
We look forward to following your journey next year!

It's been a fantastic year of sport here at St Joseph's College! I am incredibly proud of all our students who have participated with enthusiasm and energy in 2023. From sporting teams, carnivals and individual events, our students have demonstrated strength and kindliness!
