Parent Engagement

THANK YOU TO ALL THE PARENTS WHO VOLUNTEERED TO COOK AT HOME, SERVE, BBQ, ACT IN THE NATIVITY AND SIMPLY TURN UP FOR THE PARISH/SCHOOL CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY NIGHT! WE HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT AS MUCH AS WE DID!  The kids sang the Christmas hymns so beautifully, the actors entertained and our "Christmas Around the World" theme was just so perfect for a school with 28 different languages!

The second Sunday in Advent is this Sunday on the 10th December. It will be our last Children's Mass at 10.15 am with the amazing children's choir singing, followed by the usual morning tea.

Sundays are days of rest in the Catholic tradition- for families and for God. Why not come along even if you are one of our non-Catholic families? All are welcome. Come up for a special blessing at communion by crossing your hands in front of your chest if you are not Catholic. Bring the family with you. It's what Holy Family is all about - inclusiveness and love!

Coffee Connect
Coffee Connect

I always love catching up with parents at our monthly Coffee Connects. We simply have coffee on the first Thursday of every month that falls in the school term. It only takes a moment to pause and it could be a moment that begins a whole new friendship at Holy Family! Congratulations to Grace Yu pictured top left who knew no one and still turned up before work. She came to HF this September (mother of Ben in Kindy and Jansen in Year 5) and was also one of the many parents who volunteered to cook for the Christmas cuisine too. Go Grace!
