Principal's Report

Dear families,

Firstly, thank you to Filippa and all of the staff for covering for me while I was away. Our trip to Sri Lanka was certainly an amazing experience.

CAMPING PROGRAM

Last week our Grade 3 & 4 students went to camp Toolangi and from all reports had a fantastic time. Grade 5 & 6 are in Canberra this week, we look forward to their return on tomorrow. Today is the Junior Fun Day incursion with the Grade 1 Tea and Grade 2 sleep over happening tonight. A huge thank you to all staff involved in these activities. They have dedicated a great deal of their personal time so that the children can have these experiences.

ASPIRATIONS DAY

Next Tuesday 5th December the Year 5 students will be attending Aspirations Day at the Greater Shepparton College from 11am-2pm. Attached is a copy of the activities the students will be participating in.

Afternoon Session 11:00 – 11:45 Sausage Sizzle

11:45 – 12:30 Rotation 1

12:30 – 1:15 Rotation 2

1:15 – 2:00 Rotation 3

Bus pick up at 2:00pm

There is a permission slip loaded on Xuno, please complete by Monday. There is a cost of $5 per student for the bus. A complimentary sausage sizzle will be available.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL & PARENT PAYMENTS

Just a reminder the back-to-school 2024 orders are due tomorrow, 1st December, to ensure delivery for next year. We encourage all families to order the packs from COS, so all students are well prepared with the correct materials. The school no longer provides supplies to students. These packs are available at a special price so please take advantage and order early.

SCHOOL COUNCIL & PARENTS & FRIENDS DINNER

Next Thursday night we have our annual dinner at Hill Top Golf Club, Tatura commencing at 6pm. There will be a brief meeting and then dinner. Meals will be provided, and people buy their own drinks. Partners are welcome to attend.

FUN SPORTS DAY

Friday 8th is our Fun Sports Day from 11am-3pm. Parents are welcome to attend.
