Wishing Tree Appeal

The Junior School Council are facilitating a collection point at EHPS for this year's Wishing Tree Appeal.

Each year leading up to Christmas, the Salvation Army calls on the community to support those doing it tough by dropping off a new gift under a Wishing Tree. The ongoing support by the community during this time of year makes an incredible difference to the lives of so many Australians who need a helping hand.

This year, the JSC have created their own Wishing Tree in the EHPS Library. They have worked so hard to create the ultimate setup to entice the generosity of the EHPS community.

If you would like to donate a gift under the EHPS Wishing Tree, the Salvation Army suggests that you choose a practical gift that can be useful beyond Christmas time. Some of their suggestions include:

  • Books
  • School supplies
  • Headphones
  • Everyday essentials for all ages, such as socks, bed linen and bath towels
  • Gift cards

Please deliver your unwrapped gift to the tub in Office reception.

On the last day of the school year, we will deliver the gifts to a drop off centre.

This is a wonderful opportunity for you to make a difference to someone’s life and teach our children the wonders of generosity and kindness.
