From the Principal

Week 8 Term 4 2023

Dear Parents and Carers

COVID

Currently there are a number of students who are away from school with COVID. The majority of these students are from the Yr.3/4 area.  If you child does have COVID it is recommended that they remain home for 5 days. I ask that you please test if you are unsure.

Expectations till the end of term

I would like to emphasis that the following are our  school expectations:

That the children are on school on time. Currently there  are too many students arriving after the second bell.  This is disruptive to the class.

That the chidlren are in their full school uniform. This includes white socks and only white socks for sport.

Change to staffing

Ms Arianna Chor has taken up a position at Holy Spirit Ringwood for 2024.  We are currently in the process of advertising for a new teacher. This might take a few weeks.   This means that the children who were to be placed in Ms Chor's class next year will not be able to meet their teacher next Tuesday. Thank you for your understanding.

Market on the Green

Just a reminder that our  "Market on the Green" will take place next Friday evening (1st March). It will once again be held outside weather permitting. Please invite friends, relatives and neighbours to this event.

Parents' Association AGM

The Parents and Friends Association held their AGM last night, ( you will find information further along in this week's newsletter). It was wonderful to see new faces in attendance, however we are still seeking more volunteers!!!

The P and F do amazing work  ( fundraising and social events) but without volunteers it is difficult.  If you are interested in joining please let Joe our current president know.

Dates 2024

Students commence on the 30th January

Students finish on the 17th December.

Have a great week.
