In the last few weeks, we have been finishing off our last few units of the year as we look towards transition and Christmas fun over the last few days. This week has seen Christmas cheer spread throughout our classrooms with trees, tinsel and cheeky elves finding their way into the Grade 2 classrooms.

In Maths, we have been focusing on Fractions looking at halves, quarters and eighths of both shapes and groups.

In Literacy, we have continued to look at Author Allison Lester and her writing style. The students have used this style to create stories that include several fun features including repetition and rhyme.

We look forward to the last couple of weeks of the school year with fun events such as Secret Santa, the Christmas concert and end of year class parties.
