Miss Parsons - Year 6 Classroom & Team Leader
The Year 6 cohort spent four days exploring our nation’s capital on the annual Canberra Study Tour. The schedule was jam packed with learning, adventure and exploration. Here are some of the student’s highlights from the trip!
“I liked Parliament House so much because I got to see where the Prime Minister and all of the other members sit, as well as some information on the process of passing bills.”
“The war memorial was such an interesting place where we learnt lots of stories about lots of brave, courageous people.”
“I loved the AIS because we got to see where lots of athletes train and play. The Sportex games were amazingly fun with all the sports and options.”
“The Royal Australian Mint was so interesting to learn how our coins are made.”
“At Cycle Canberra we rode around Lake Burley Griffin and over the bridges. It was really fun and inclusive because we went at a good pace for everyone and even got to add some special detours.”
“I loved the giraffes at the zoo, because they were so funny when they ran. It looked like they were playing tag and running in slow motion.”
