Welcome Miss Carly

This term we welcome Miss Carly to the Wellbeing Team.  Miss Carly is our College Chaplain and she will be at Cunderdin every Tuesday and Wednesday on a fortnightly basis.  Miss Carly met most of the students last week and is looking forward to helping students with their work, having one on one catch ups as well as designing activities for after school on a Tuesday.  Welcome to the team Miss Carly.

'Do it for Dolly'

'Do it for Dolly' Day is this Friday May 9.  Next Monday May 12, the student council are having 'Go BLUE to end Bullying'.  The students are encouraged to wear blue to dinner on Monday night and bring along a 'gold coin' donation.

Reward at McDonalds

On the final Thursday of Term 1, the Year 12 students who had a perfect behaviour record went out for a lunch date to Northam McDonalds. The Manager at McDonalds was extremely impressed with their outstanding behaviour, saying we were the best school group they have ever had.  She was so impressed that they cleaned all the tables and pushed all the chairs in.  We are welcome back there anytime.

This term we have a food reward on Tuesday May 27 for those students who have a perfect behaviour record for Weeks 1-4.  In Week 9, there is another reward for those students who have outstanding behaviour for Weeks 5-9.  Student Council are currently planning the event, and we expect to release details very soon.

Movember in May

Currently we have fundraised over $500 for men's health and mental health.  We are very pleased to announce we have reached our target of $500. Congratulations to the student council for organising this fundraiser.

ANZAC service

Thank you very much to the Student Council for coordinating the ANZAC day service Wednesday of last week. On behalf of the student council, we wish to thank Mr Cooper for his fabulous address to all of us about the meaning of ANZAC day and thanks to Mr Dowell for your introduction about ANZAC day and the reasons we acknowledge this special event in our calendar each year.

On a personal note, I would like to congratulate ALL students on the excellent respect they demonstrated during this service.
