OH&S Meetings

The OH&S Committee meets twice per term. The composition includes the elected HSR and Deputy HSR, representatives from each sub-school, a rep from Admin/Therapy, the Principal, Assistant Principals and the OH&S Manager Nominee.

OHS COMMITTEE

OHS Committee Purpose: The OHS Committee is a formal group that facilitates consultation on health and safety matters. The committee is responsible for supporting the resolution of safety issues.

The OHS Committee provides a forum for discussing health and safety concerns.

FIRST AID OFFICERS for 2025

Final call for any staff that have current First Aid Qualification (conducting with external agency) and would like to be a JSA First Aid Officer for 2025 and receive the First Aid Officer Allowance, please ensure that i have received your certificate by Wednesday 2nd April.

FREE VACCINES FOR STAFF

(Influenza Diphtheria, Tetanus & Whooping Cough Hepatitis B)

WHEN: Thursday 15th May, 2.30pm-4pm

WHERE: CLH

Please add your name to the list (in the Staffroom on the fridge) if you would like to receive your FREE Flu vaccine when City of Darebin visits JSA.

Please see Fiona Micelotta to collect a consent form that requires to be filled in before the day, and handed in to the nurse on the day.

An OHS Safety Champion is someone who actively promotes and supports workplace health and safety by identifying risks, encouraging safe practices, and fostering a culture of safety.
