Year 10 Week

Year 10 Week, incorporating City Experience, aims to develop skills, enhance study habits, build independence and resilence while promoting friendships and having fun.  It was all that and more!

Two days were held at school working on study skills, preparing for work experience in Term 2 and the two days to come exploring the city.

The student were involved in the 'build a meal' activity as part of their community involvement resulting in 33 non-perishable meals being donated to Bayside Community Care to support those in need.

City Experience

Melbourne was buzzing as these two days of exploration and discover co-incided with the Grand Prix.  Each day started and ended at Federation Square. Small teams of students then set-off with their scavenger-hunt style workbook to complete tasks like gather a leaf from a park, jump on a tram, take an interesting photo, walk the laneways and see the street art, rest at the State Library or take note of the stalls at the Melbourne market - where some chose to pick-up a souvenir or two.
