Welcome!

A message from the Principal

St Peter’s Cross Country

Our Cross Country event was held today, with the Year 5/6 students kicking off the race and then supporting the rest of the school during their runs. A big congratulations to all students who participated – it was an outstanding effort from everyone! Well done to those who gave their best, and a special shout-out to those who achieved top results.

Bush Dance & Learning Expo

Tomorrow is an exciting day with both our Learning Expo and St Peter’s Bush Dance! The Bush Dance has been a highlight for the past couple of years, and we are thrilled to host it again. Students will work with the Bush Dance band throughout the day, and then we will open up the classrooms from 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm. This will be a great opportunity for students to take their families through their classrooms and showcase their learning.

The pizza dinner will be served from 5:00 pm onwards, and the dancing will begin at 5:30 pm. Families are invited to join in the fun until 6:30 pm. We hope to see you there!

To help us organise the pizza dinner, please complete the RSVP via SimonEverywhere with your family’s details and your intention of attending, along with any dietary requirements. We hope to see you all there!

Easter Fundraiser – Raffle Details

As we prepare for our annual Easter Raffle, we are seeking donations to help create the prizes for this event. If you are able to contribute, please drop off your donations at the office by Wednesday, 2nd April. We truly appreciate your generosity, and any contributions, big or small, are welcome. Your support helps make this event a success for our school community. A special shoutout to IGA Long Gully for their generous prize donations.

Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the office, starting at 50 cents each. The Easter Raffle will be drawn on the last day of term, Friday, 4th April, during our school assembly at 1:45 pm. School will finish at 2:15 pm that day for the end of term.

Parents and carers are welcome to attend the assembly and join us for the raffle draw!

Caritas Fundraising

Throughout Lent the school has been raising money for Caritas. Donation boxes will be available to receive donations at the Bush Dance. In addition, on Friday 4th April students are invited to wear casual clothes and receive a Zooper Dooper for a gold coin donation.

Easter Term Holidays

Students will return for Term 2 on Monday, 28th April. This extended holiday period allows staff from the Sandhurst Diocese to participate in professional learning sessions with distinguished educational speakers from around the world. Please mark these dates on your calendar if you haven’t already.

Year 5/6 Camp

In the second week of next term, our Year 5/6 students will be heading off to Log Cabins Creswick for their school camp. The camp will take place from Monday, 5th May to Tuesday, 6th May.

This camp offers an exciting opportunity for students to engage in a variety of fun and challenging activities, building teamwork, confidence, and a deeper connection with nature. We are sure it will be a memorable experience for all involved, filled with great moments and learning opportunities. We look forward to hearing all about the adventure when they return!

A permission note has been uploaded to PAM for parents to complete. Please ensure this is submitted by the due date to allow your child to attend. We look forward to hearing all about the adventure when they return!

God Bless,
