From the Principal

Happy Easter!
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter Break with family and friends. The Easter
story reminds us of the importance of hope in our lives. It begins with darkness and despair, as Jesus faces crucifixion, symbolising the hard times in our lives. Yet, it culminates in resurrection, a triumphant victory over death, offering a powerful message of hope and renewal. This narrative reminds us that even in the darkest moments, there is always the promise of a brighter future. It inspires us to hold onto faith and trust that no matter what challenges we face, hope can transform our lives and lead us towards healing and new beginnings. The Easter message uplifts and sustains us.
To our students, thank you for your hard work this term and I wish you a restful and enjoyable holiday. To all families, I hope you travel safely and make the most of the precious time spent together.
Stations of the Cross
Thank you everyone involved in the Stations of the Cross depiction this week. It was wonderful to gather as a school community to reflect on the Easter story and how it is relevant to our lives. Thank you to Elizabeth Holligan for organising the production.
2026 Enrolments
Enrolments for 2026 are now open. We have had a variety of events for students and families to have a look around and experience learning and life at St Anne's College. Our Community Open Night, pre primary and Year 7 Discovery Days have been well attended and it is exciting to see so many new families enrolling. For all families, current or prospective, you are welcome to contact the office to organise a tour.
Year 7 Enrolment
I am thrilled that the majority of our current Grade 6 students are continuing enrolment into Year 7. The cohort is a wonderful group of individuals and I am sure they will only get closer as the high school years progress.
Our current Grade 6 students are guaranteed a spot in Year 7 once we have confirmation from parents/carers. Please contact the school office for more information.
Woodwork
It was great to see our state of the art woodwork room up and going this term. The students are loving the new facilities and tools!
Farewell Staff
Emma O'Keeffe Primary Wellbeing Leader (new Deputy Principal at Wilmot Road Primary School), Sham Akan Secondary Teacher (moving to Melbourne) and Jo Wall (Admin) are all finishing at the end of this term.
We wish all our departing staff every blessing and the best of luck in their new positions.
