40 Birds! Our students have worked so hard to display our school values this term, that they have now officially earned over 4000 Egg Acknowledgements, equating to 40 Birds on our Celebration Tree! We are so proud of our Ambitious, Creative, Compassionate, Courageous students!
As a result, our Junior School Council have conducted a vote and students have all decided that we will have a Games Day on the last day of Term 1. Further information will be sent out via Compass in coming days, but please congratulate your children for reaching such a significant milestone!
Celebration Day - Games Day - Friday 4th April
Tomorrow I look forward to our Whole School Cross Country event at Elgar Park. We would love to see as many parents there as possible, to cheer on our students as they run in their event. Event times are available on Compass. Our students have been training for this event for most of this term, so we look forward to seeing their courage and ambition on full display tomorrow. We hope to see you there!
Mr Stocks would love some volunteers to help marshal the track. If you're available to help out in any way tomorrow, please let us know when you arrive.
We have such a wonderfully multicultural community at Box Hill North, which was on full display today as students dressed in clothing that was culturally significant to them. We were very grateful to have some generous parents volunteer to cook a Special Lunch order for our students! Thank you to all parents who volunteered to help with this Special Lunch Order. We are always so grateful for all the parent support available in our community.
It's not an April Fool's joke, our School Photos are happening this coming Tuesday! I'm sure there have been many a haircut booked for this weekend in preparation for our School Photos on Tuesday.
Please make sure all students are wearing the correct uniform on Tuesday, including t-shirts with logos and gingham/grey shorts or burgundy pants.
Photo orders are due the day before and can be made via Compass under the Community tab.
Can you believe it's nearly Easter? Next Friday 4th April, we will have Assembly at 1.30pm, to make sure as many parents as possible can attend to watch our marvellous Easter Hat Parade! I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone's creative hats that they've made in the last few weeks of term.
After the Easter Hat Parade, we will conduct our usual Assembly, with a special musical performance from some of our students. To conclude Assembly, we will draw our Easter Raffle.
So many things to be excited about for the last day of school!
Term 1 will finish at 2.30pm on Friday 4th April.
Please ensure your children have appropriate transportation home at this time. TheirCare will be running After School Care from 2.30pm on Friday, please book in if you're unable to collect children at 2.30pm.
