PTFA

Last weekend the election was held at the school. Elections are always a winner for the school with a great attendance at the sausage sizzle. The sausage sizzle and cake stall is an essential part of attending a voting station. The BBQ and the cake stall was a huge success, raising over $4,600. A huge thank you to Andrew who took the lead on this event and a big thank you to all the volunteers that helped out on the day, Chris for approaching Bunnings who kindly donated a second barbeque to the school.  Also everyone who donated to the cake stall and everyone that came to the buy something. We would also like to thank Wallers Bakery, Cheltenham Bakery and Bakers Delight (Southland) for all the bread donated. 

This month we will be also be holding the second-hand uniform sale. With winter approaching, the sale will be an opportunity to stock up on winter clothes.

The major event on the PTFA calendar for this term is the Trivia Night. This is an event that the parents really look forward to that is always lots of fun. This year we will be holding the event at the end of June, at the Cheltenham Bowling Club which will have more room and allow us to have greater numbers in attendance. We do not want anyone to miss out!  As a major fundraising event, we will have a silent auction throughout the night. For the event to be a great success your help in sourcing items would be greatly appreciated! All that contribute will be recognised on the night and in the newsletters leading up to, and post the event.
